Snow Man Embroidery and Applique on a Hand Towel
Note: You will learn how to do custom applique on difficult surfaces such as towels. The snowman design for this project will be provided for use on your class project only. You must purchase the design cd if you wish to keep the design for use on your future projects. All threads, stabilizers, and the Anita Goodesigns – Snow Fun are available at Humble Sewing Center.

Project Supply List:
1. tear away stabilizer (E-Z Tear)
2. water soluble stabilizer (Sulky Solvy)
3. 4”x5” remnant of white fabric or Alova for snowman body
(Alova is sort of a faux suede & is available at Joann Fabrics)
4. 16”x26” hand towel – any color you want
5. 9 colors of embroidery thread for snowman design
- white – snowman inner outline
- baby blue – snowman outline & snowflake
- pink – snowman cheek
- orange – snowman carrot nose
- black – snowman facial features
- 2 shades of red or 2 misc. colors for hat
- 2 shades of blue or 2 misc. colors for scarf & hat
