Chic Bags Camp Samples

Teen/Tween Chic Bags Camp (ages 8 to Teens)

Dates:  Aug. 2nd-6th   

Time:  2pm-4:30pm 

Fee:  $175 (We provide machines, fabrics, and all supplies during camp.) 

8 student limit, pre-registration required 

Description: 

Make 5 chic fashion bags during this 5 day sew camp!  Learn designer techniques with magnetic snaps, drawstrings, buttonholes, zippers and more while you make these kid friendly projects. 

Note:  All students must come 30 minutes early on 1st day of camp for orientation. All students will receive a *$25 Gift Certificate towards the purchase of any new sewing machine at Humble Sewing Center.  *Gift Certificate valid during your sew camp only.   

If you want to bring your own machine to this camp, it must be one that you purchased new from Humble Sewing Center.  Contact jenny@sewvacoutlet.com to make special arrangements.

Babylock Sewing/Embroidery Workshop

Designed for those interested in a Babylock sewing/embroidery machine and owners of Babylock sewing/embroidery machine owners.

Great workshop to learn the Babylock sewing/embroidery machines.

Saturday, May 22 from 10-1 PM or 2-5 PM
Fee $20

Space is limited to 12 per session with 2 sessions scheduled. Morning Session 10-1 PM, Afternoon Session 2-5 PM. 4 seats are available for those who do not own a Babylock but are considering a Babylock sewing/embroidery machine. 8 seats are available for those who already own a Babylock sewing/embroidery machine.

You will have the opportunity to sew and embroidery on a Babylock Sewing/Embroidery Machine.

Embroidery Unit

5x7 or larger Embroidery hoop

Embroidery Thread Variety of colors.

Have you ever seen the charm packs in the quilt shop? This is a great way to make a nice tote bag with a charm pack.

Completed in 2 sessions - May 19 and May 26.

Fee $30

A sample of this "charming tote" is on display in the store.

Supply List:

- 1 Charm pack- At least 35 squares
- 1 Yard of fabric to match
- 1 one-inch button (coordinate with fabric, no shank)
- 1.5 yards of fusible fleece
- Thread to match
- Basic Sewing supplies
- 14x4 inch piece of sturdy cardboard for bottom of bag.
