Fun at Sonia Showalter's Designs Embroidery Event

Our classroom was filled today with those who attended the Sonia Showalter Embroidery Event.

Everyone had a great time embroidering.  Sonia Showalter of Sonia Showalter Designs was on hand to guide the event.

In the morning event Sonia explained how to stitch free standing lace acorn beads to make bracelets or napkin rings. We had Janome, Babylock, Viking, Bernina and Brother embroidery machines owners in the store having a wonderful time.

The picture shows the acorn beads. Ribbon is placed through the handles on the beads to string them together.

The afternoon event featured a new acorn and leaves design that was stitched on fine linen. The results were beautiful.

Fun was had by all.
