Chic Bags Camp Samples

Teen/Tween Chic Bags Camp (ages 8 to Teens)

Dates:  Aug. 2nd-6th   

Time:  2pm-4:30pm 

Fee:  $175 (We provide machines, fabrics, and all supplies during camp.) 

8 student limit, pre-registration required 

Description: 

Make 5 chic fashion bags during this 5 day sew camp!  Learn designer techniques with magnetic snaps, drawstrings, buttonholes, zippers and more while you make these kid friendly projects. 

Note:  All students must come 30 minutes early on 1st day of camp for orientation. All students will receive a *$25 Gift Certificate towards the purchase of any new sewing machine at Humble Sewing Center.  *Gift Certificate valid during your sew camp only.   

If you want to bring your own machine to this camp, it must be one that you purchased new from Humble Sewing Center.  Contact jenny@sewvacoutlet.com to make special arrangements.

Class includes large digitized A-Z fonts & the Anita Goodesign zippered bag design for you to keep!

Projects:
*In-the-Hoop zip pouch from Anita Goodesign (design is free with this class!)
*Personalized Coffee Mug w/ kiwi paper or fabric - your choice! (mug available for purchase at HSC)
*Personalized Key Fob w/ ribbon or coordinating fabric - your choice! (key fob kit included with this class)
Supply List:
You Bring:
Embroidery Machine & accessories - all brands welcome (must be able to sew 5x7 field)
Fabric: Bring 1/4 yard of fabric to make your key fob & mug match. Also, bring 1/4 yard of ultra-suede or non-raveling fabric for the zip pouch.
Thread: Bring embroidery thread to match your fabric/fabrics
Bobbins wound with matching embroidery thread
Thread snips
scissors
scotch tape
1 zipper at least 9"
Stabilizers:
Tear away stabilizer
1 can of Temporary Spray Adhesive or glue stick
*Personalized Mug with fabric needs medium to heavy weight, fusible stabilizer for 5x7 hoop
