1/2 -1 yd. white Batiste (or cotton) fabric. (1/2 yd. scarf or 1 yd. pillowcase)
1/4 -1/2 yd. pastel colored batiste (or a contrast colored cotton)
Sewing Machine with applique or open toe foot
1 size 11 standard needle
1 wing needle size 16
Water or air soluble marking pen
Straight pins
Colored (embroidery or regular) thread to match colored fabric
1 spool of was a way basting thread
1 bobbin filled with lingerie/bobbin thread
Spray starch
