Tote Bag with Continuous Repeating Border
Design: Anita Goodesign Vintage Borders

Have you ever tried to stitch out a repeating design with multiple hoopings and it just didn't quite turn out?
Well, this month, we're going to embroider a perfectly placed repeating design and make a quick and easy tote bag from start to finish!

The design featured in the sample photo is from Anita Goodesigns Vintage Borders.
I chose this one for 2 reasons.
#1 it looks great! and #2 it stitches out QUICK!!! If you plan to purchase this design cd, please let me know so I can make sure Humble Sewing Center has enough on hand the day of our class.

So, for best results during this class, pick up your own copy of this beautiful design cd, or be sure to bring a border that stitches out QUICK and measures 6.5 inches wide per hooping.
Why? Because I custom designed the size of our tote bag project to perfectly fit all the 6.5 inch borders on the Anita Goodesign cd!

Here's your Supply List - Have Fun and See you Soon!

You will need your sewing machine and embroidery machine for this class.

1 yard of denim or home decorator fabric
Denim Sewing Machine Needle
1 Magnetic Snap
1 scrap of medium weight interfacing 4"x4"
Embroidery Thread
Adhesive Tear Away or Wash Away Stabilizer
5x7 embroidery hoop and plastic hooping grid
Water Soluble Marker or Chalk Pencil
Optional:
rotary cutter and rotary cutter ruler

P.S. Ladies, this is the last Janome Club until Summer Break is over.
During summer, I'll still be available for private lessons at Humble Sewing Center - so ask for details if you're interested!
Thanks,
Jenny
